Get New Carpet in 3 Easy Steps
A simple, low-stress way to buy carpet. No showroom trips needed.
Book Your Free Estimate
Pick a time that works for you. Our mobile showroom rolls out from our Fort Worth hub on Mercantile Plaza, so you skip the trip and the Loop 820 traffic. A specialist meets you at home and matches samples to your own rooms and light.
Pick Your Carpet and See Your Price
Choose the carpet you love. You get one clear, all-in price for carpet, padding, install, furniture moving, and old carpet removal. No hidden add-ons, and none of the piecemeal quotes big-box stores hand out around Tarrant County.
Sit Back While We Install
Our local crew moves your furniture, pulls the old carpet and padding, and lays your new floor. They arrive ready to reset tack strips for North Texas slab foundations, then clean up. Many homes are finished the same day.
The CarpetNow Difference
Buying carpet usually wears you down. You drive across town, dig through sample racks, then wait weeks for a crew to show up. After ten years inside a traditional flooring company, our founders knew Fort Worth homeowners deserved something simpler, so they built it.
Our trained crew carries hand-picked samples right to your couch. Our installers finish most homes in one day and stay inside your budget. Press play to see what a real install day looks like.
Why Fort Worth Homeowners Choose Carpet Now
Carpet Now ranks among Fort Worth’s top-rated carpet companies for fresh carpet and full replacements. We help homeowners, designers, and builders pick quality carpet and get it installed fast. Before any new carpet goes down, our crew tears out the old carpet and cushion, tests the slab for trapped moisture, and squares up the tack strips and seams. Fort Worth’s clay soil moves with the weather, so that prep keeps your floor flat and tight for years.
Samples Brought to Your Door
See colors in your own light, right next to your walls and trim. You skip the crawl across I-820, I-30, and I-35W to hop between showrooms all day.
Same-Day Installation
Our Fort Worth crew usually finishes the whole job in one day. Most homes are done in a single visit, and same-week appointments are often open.
We Move the Furniture
Our Fort Worth carpet installers lift the heavy pieces, tear out the old carpet and cushion, and haul every scrap away. You do not lift a thing.
Local Fort Worth Experts
We know this market, and you reach real people, not a call center. In our experience, that local know-how matters. We plan for clay-soil slabs, wide temperature swings, and the two-story homes common across the Mid-Cities on every job.
40+ Years of Experience
Carpet Now was founded by father-and-son team Ben and Willie Hendrix. Their crews deliver quick, accurate estimates and clean, tight seams on every job.
Lifetime Labor Warranty
Our labor is covered for life. If the slab shifts and a seam lifts or the carpet ripples, we return and re-stretch it at no charge, on top of the manufacturer's material warranty.

Fort Worth Carpet Installation FAQs
How much does carpet installation cost in Fort Worth?
Most Fort Worth carpet installation runs $2.75 to $8 per square foot, fully installed. What you pay depends on the carpet you choose, the room’s size and shape, and the condition of the subfloor. Homes that carpet several rooms at once often earn a better rate.
How much does it cost to carpet a 12×12 room in Fort Worth?
A 12-by-12 bedroom is about 144 square feet, so most Fort Worth homeowners pay $400 to $1,150 installed. Economy carpet sits at the low end, while premium nylon or wool reaches the top. Furniture moving and old carpet removal are already included.
How much does it cost to replace carpet in a 10×12 room?
Replacing carpet in a 10-by-12 room (about 120 square feet) usually costs $330 to $1,000 in Fort Worth. That covers pulling the old carpet and padding, the new materials, and the install. Instead of driving around town, you can have samples brought to your door and get an exact quote on the spot.
How much does 500 square feet of carpet cost in Fort Worth?
For 500 square feet, roughly two or three bedrooms, plan on about $1,550 to $2,450 for budget carpet, $2,450 to $3,600 for mid-range, and $3,600 to $5,150 for premium, all fully installed. Padding, labor, and haul-away are built into those ranges.
What counts as expensive carpet in Fort Worth?
In the Fort Worth market, premium carpet runs about $7 to $11 per square foot installed, and luxury wool or high-end nylon can top $12. These fibers last longer, often 15 to 25 years, and hold up better to the clay-soil grit tracked indoors. Most families choose mid-range instead.
When is the best time to buy carpet in Fort Worth?
Winter, from December through February, is often the best time to buy carpet in Fort Worth. Work slows after the holidays, so crews have more open dates and prices tend to soften. Booking then also helps you beat the fierce spring real estate rush in fast-growing Mid-Cities suburbs like Keller and Southlake, when install dates fill fast.
How often should carpet be replaced in Fort Worth homes?
Carpet generally holds up 5 to 15 years, though local conditions can cut that short. High-traffic rooms may wear in 4 to 6 years, while guest rooms last much longer. Clay-soil grit, summer heat, and storm-season moisture all speed up wear.
How fast can you install carpet in Fort Worth?
Most Fort Worth homes are finished in a single day, and same-week appointments are often open. Our mild North Texas climate lets us install year round, so weather rarely causes delays. Homeowners on a move-in or resale deadline value that speed most.
Do Fort Worth homes need moisture-resistant carpet padding?
Yes. Fort Worth’s clay soil and wide temperature swings make moisture-barrier padding a smart choice for protecting your carpet and subfloor. Industry group the Carpet and Rug Institute reports that quality padding can add up to 50 percent more life to your carpet, and skipping it can void the warranty.
Does the room need to be empty before you install?
No. Our Fort Worth installers handle the heavy furniture for you as a standard part of the visit. Just clear the small stuff, like lamps, electronics, and décor, and give us a heads-up about pianos or large cabinets. Our team is used to easing heavy, solid-wood pieces down the staircases in the area’s two-story suburban homes.
Ready for New Fort Worth Carpet the Easy Way?
Forget the showroom runs and the crawl across the Metroplex. We deliver more than 100 samples to your living room, measure each space, and hand you one honest number that already covers materials, cushion, furniture moving, and old carpet removal. Most Fort Worth homes are done inside a day and stand behind our lifetime labor coverage. Same-week openings go fast, so schedule your free in-home visit now.
